Cancer Prevention Action Week 2025, led by World Cancer Research Fund, runs from 23 to 29 June and focuses on the link between alcohol and cancer. The review shows that the risk of EOCRC rises with higher alcohol use and that smoking—especially among current or ever-smokers—also increases risk, highlighting the need for targeted prevention.
